salam and good evening. today we had ANOTHER bbq. only it was at our house. with a malay family. their just nice peeps. the kids are adorable. annoying (but only a tiny ounce). i think i was born to be loved by kids. hmm, maybe its the charm. woohoo..PERASAN! anyways, we had some chicken, hotdogs, blablabla then we went inside to watch some movies (which kinda defeats the purpose of bbqs, but, oh well). it was fun all in all. played with the kids a bit. then later on me and keen decided to make a cake for fathers day instead of buyin one and it turned out awesome. ill put a pic of it if i get the chance.
wondering how life is gonna be like if i go to iium. seems like a peaceful place.
miss along. if he was here mesti best gile! along come herela for a week or two. cheh! macam he baca this thing. lol.
my sushis last night turned out okay cos it was all finished. i mite be the next sushi queen. im thinkin a mix of cultures here. 'sushi beriyani'. amacam?

IIUM - engineering matriculation

whatever the title says. i got it. im darn happy. kinda. i am. minus the fact that now i dont know what to do. thank god iium gave til next week to decide. then now i can go on thinking and worrying about what i wanna do for a WHOLE WEEK! im just really blur right now.
i realised i like EATING sushi more then actually MAKING it. and i still havent succeded in makin one of those 'egg salad' sushis. ended up turning like ugly mashed eggs and rice ; with seaweed.
i just mailed my scholarship thingy today. jus need to send in 2 more docs, then they can evaluate it.
got an email from izrin. miss her loads. wish i could turn back time sometimes. gee..how pathetic do i sound??
well, thats all for now. maybe ill wake up tomorow and finally figure out what to do with my life. chill peeps.

ACT dah abisss! woohoo. a feel of relief. (skit je la). didnt have much time for the english and science reasoning section. man, americans MUST read fast, cos i felt like the only one havin trouble. after that balik rumah and catch up on..sleep! hehe. didnt sleep well the night before. than by 6 we had a barbecue to attend to. all the malays here pakat buat bbq and they invited us. it was ok. talked to some of them. most of them are jpa scholars. one more year and their finished. again, nice to see faces from home. too bad there was no one my age i could really connect to. but it was okay anyway. sue stepped on glass cos we didnt wear our shoes outside on the balcony and i guess some shitheads broke glass there. kesian sue. but shes ok. tomorow we're going to philly. got directions for franklin institute, zoo and adventure aquarium. dang, feel like a kid again. tel next time. i need some cranberries! ( i do mean the band.) miss all my 2000 mp3s in msia! lol. i need a drink too, but im too dang scared to godown and get it. :P. so dark.

ACTs

ACTs pulak. youre probably wondering that. im taking it cos the next SATs are in Oct. ACTs tomorow, im on standby. i had exactly 4 days of prep. surely get A. (sarcasm kills the sarah). parents went to walmart and its almost 11pm. mentang2 24 hours that thing opens. haha. i would've gone if i didnt have to study. oh god, give me whatever is best for me. help me.
went to pennstate today. (for the 100th time). the official tour and presentation was todayla. nice place. friendly people. VERY different from malaysia. and i dont know if im ready for it. seriously. i mean, i dont even know anyone here. not that well la. it gets lonely sometimes. *sigh*. miss everyone in malaysia. even that guy yang kerja kat jusco at that music shop. *sigh*. the most unexpected people. well, pray for me whoever you are. lol.

i got a library card!

Schlow Memorial Library. a really cute library. theyve got a childrens section upstairs and adult section downstairs. and theres an internet cafe next to the childrens section. saw a muslim american lady there workin, noticed her 'tudung', another feeling of home-li-ness. me and abah got our library cards today after going to the admission office at pennstate. they said i needed SATs cos im american citizen. gila bugs ah. and they cant consider me an international student jus cos of that. but i personally think thats unfair cos i had my education and all in malaysia. oh well, but abah wants me to take SAT or ACT la, he said i might need it anyway. i might not be able to be admitted this fall, maybe spring, which brings back to my thoughts --- amek kat malaysia ah. but abah wants me to go to pennstate. the question is---what do i want? im really not sure. come on, im 17, what do u expect? oh dear ol stupid brain of mine -- what is best for me??

walt disney and universal were fun. i was just aiming for all the thrill rides. managed to finish probably 70% of all the thrill rides. scoreboard : -

didnt get a chance to go on test track, and the hulk (thrills). cos we only had a day. but sue definately enjoyed it. it was fun to watch her. i had my time 8 years ago. maybe another 8 years to come ; a 3rd trip? haha.
Rizvi came over today. Whose Rizvi? An old friend of Along and us. i was close to his sis before we went back to Malaysia. Their originally from Indonesia. But Rizvi and Mimi are both studying at penn state, so theyve been here for a while. nice to see some familiar faces. it recalls lots of memories. how i wish i was a kid again. all we had to think about then was playtime. how nice.
went downtown twice today. just exploring. wanted to go to the library but their closed on sundays. maybe tomorow.
write more when i get the chance. miss malaysia. miss my house. miss jusco and sushi! i had five raw fish sushi which was really hard for me to swallow but i finished it anyways. that was $7.35 all together. not including tips. adios.
